1. How can I get a free trial download of HealthLink?

Click the Download button on the homepage to create a download account. Fill in the required information and click Submit. Click the download button and follow the installation instructions.

 

2. How do I set up a Google Health account?

If you have not already created a Google account, visit the Google Health website located at https://www.google.com/health to sign up. Select the 'Create a new account now' option on the right side of the login screen.

 

To create an accountfill in all fields: e-mail, password, location, and word verification; and then select the 'I accept' button at the bottom of the page.


3. How do I set up a HealthVault account?

HealthLink PC is currently configured to work with the pre-release version of Microsoft HealthVault, HealthVault.ppe. You must have a Windows Live Account to create a HealthVault Account. You can login/sign up for a Windows Live account at https://login.live.com. Click 'Sign up for an account'. Fill out all required fields and click 'Continue'.


You will receive an e-mail with a link to confirm that your Windows Live ID e-mail address is correct. Follow the link and the instructions listed to complete confirmation.


You are now ready to create your HealthVault account. You can access HealthVault by going to https://account.healthvault-ppe.com/. Enter your Window Live ID e-mail and password, and click 'Sign in'. Create your account by filling in the required information and click 'Create account'. 


Note: The 'First name' and 'Last name' that you enter here will be the 'Username' (example, John Smith) that will be required during the HealthLink account setup in order to link your HealthLink account to your HealthVault account.

 

4. How do I pair my Bluetooth device?

The first time that you attempt to work with a specific Bluetooth device you will need to go through a pairing process before HealthLink can receive measurements from it.

 

Go to the HealthLink menu bar and click ‘Edit’. Choose ‘Search For Devices’ from the dropdown menu and a ‘Discover Devices’ window will appear.

To transition a device into the discoverable state, remove the batteries, replace them and immediately click ‘Discover’.  Select the desired device from the list and click ‘Connect’.  Enter the Bluetooth PIN if prompted (some devices do not require a PIN). The device is now paired and able to send measurements.
